Closed mouth impression method for immediate complete denture fabrication on maxillary and mandibular flat ridges in medically compromised patient: A case report

Immediate complete denture is a full arch prosthetic, inserted immediately following the extraction of all remaining teeth to replace missing dentition and associated structures. Female patient, 74 years old, came make new set but didn’t want mobile get extracted before ready because it was still needed for her old partial retention. Upon clinical examination, she has flat maxillary mandibular ridge which will immediate fabrication more elaborate. She also been taking antiplatelet drugs regularly after heart valve surgery 10 ago. The treatment choice be fabricated using closed mouth impression method, conscientiously planned prevent post-extraction hemorrhage complication. It considered that help controlling promote healing on socket, as aids surgical splint. This paper aimed report an method in medically compromised patient.
